20th Anniversary Juried Art Exhibition
April 25 - September 7, 2008

2008 marks the 20th anniversary of the State Museum’s opening, and to celebrate the diversity of South Carolina’s art, the Museum will host a juried exhibition of art from the Palmetto State. The exhibit will run from April 25 through Sept. 7, 2008. A reception will be held Thursday, April 24, 6 - 8pm. Jurors: Brian Rutenberg, an abstract painter living in New York City, and Lia Newman, director of programs and exhibitions at Artspace in Raleigh, N.C.

24th Annual Juried Art Exhibition: Vanishing Landscapes

Coordinated by the Coastal Conservation League and juried by Dr. Mokhless Al-Hariri, VANISHING LANDSCAPES, this year's theme will showcase works of South Carolina artists in two dimensions, three dimensions, and photography related to the state of our planet and its environment.
